Publisher's summary

The death of a founder, plus a grieving daughter, leads a corporation to turn to the dark side.

When Claire Bigsby buries the founder, the devastating loss seeps into her bones, hollows out her soul. Losing her father, who loved her unconditionally, becomes the hardest chapter of her life. It must have been why she didn't give the bald man staring her down at the funeral a second thought.

But when evening comes and she's home alone, terror swoops into plain sight. A stranger in the night watches her from across the street, but is this the same man she saw at the funeral? Before she can find out, the night turns wrong and forces her to follow a trail that could mean her doom as well.

Meanwhile, something is churning in the depths of her father's corporation.

Executives are lusting for ultimate power. A power so devastating, a secret so deadly, that only the darkest of hearts clamor as it is hastened into existence. One loyal employee though, might be able to derail the spoiling of an empire.

A story of honor and heartbreak, deception and cruelty, filled with high-speed turns and tragedy, as Claire and her friends work to discover the truth while a sinister plot unfolds to silence them at all costs.

Timothy Moonlight engineers a ramped plot, laden with suspense that transforms into pause-resisting fiction, pushing you down a dangerous rabbit hole without guardrails. If you like the terrifying antics of Dean Koontz, enjoy gut-wrenching twists you never see coming, and climactic endings that call to you days after you finish listening, then make The Last Word your next book.

Buy The Last Word today and experience the deepest chills of the year for yourself.

A great story

I was glad to find out what happened to Gregory Robbins. I did not like this one as much as waiting in the moonlight but still a great story. Thumbs up for Timothy Moonlight.

Loved the Audible version!

I was very eager to listen to the audible version of The Last Word by Timothy Moonlight. I’ll start by saying it did not disappoint! From the beginning I knew there was going to be a major plot twist but I completely did not see the ending coming. I absolutely loved it! I do not want spoil the fantastic ending, just trust me you’ll be very surprised. It was far more than I could imagine happening! I loved the audible version because I could actually visualize each character. The Author did an amazing job at being very descriptive, then the voice of the Narrator brought the book to life with his own impersonations of each character.

A thriller worthy of John Saul or Dean Koontz!

The Last Word by Timothy Moonlight is a terrific thriller. While reading it I found it to be reminiscent of the skills of John Saul and Dean Koontz. It was one of the best thrillers I have read in a while.

Claire Bigsby is shocked by the death of her father but unable to properly mourn him as a series of strange events occur that seem to be somehow connected to her father's company. She finds her life in danger and does not know where to turn or who to trust. If she is to survive she must find out who wants her dead and why.

Liam Taylor did a fine job of narrating the story.

I look forward to reading further works by Timothy Moonlight.

I did receive a free copy of this audio book at my request from the author. This review is voluntarily given.

The Last Word

A thrilling tale of high tech, murder, and greed. I was totally entertained as things unraveled and the surprising twists were revealed.

Timothy Moonlight did a fantastic job with this story, and I also enjoyed Liam Taylor’s narration.

Pretty Good!!

I almost gave up on this book. I listened to probably 120 pages before I got into it. I hate giving up on books. It hurts my soul to have to quit because I know as soon as I put a book down it's going to be amazing from that point on! I'm definitely happy that I didn't give up. It all started to make sense and get really interesting after the first quarter. Don't Give Up Guys... Its def worth it to keep going. I also enjoyed the narration. He has a very soothing and calm voice.

This book was given to me at my request. I am providing a voluntary review.

The last word is...this is great

I enjoyed this book as the story had a few twists that I didn't see coming. The story is told from several characters so it jumped about a bit but it was still easy to follow. I liked the way you were never sure what was going on, who to trust and the way the author built up the tension. It's a scary world we live in with the rate that technology is developing and this book sees it upped to a whole new level.
After the head of a Tec company dies in a car crash things start to turn strange for his daughter. A man starts to turn up everywhere she goes but what possible reason could there be for her to get a stalker? Then in on of those late night sighting she receives a note telling her it is connected to her father's company and not to trust anyone.but she must get to the bottom of the darkness within. At the same Susanne, an employee of the company, gets an email from a dead man telling her she must investigate the secret lab in the basement that she doesn't have access too because something isn't right with the company she loves. Can the two women come together to work out what secrets someone doesn't want told? Or will the actions set in motion by her father's death also prove to be Claire death too?
The narrator was okay but he didn't really have a wide range of voices for male and female characters, although I had no problems telling who was speaking they just sounded the same. Don't let that stop you from a great book because I did enjoy it.

Poor narration

This had to be one of the most monotone read audio books I’ve ever listened to. I listen to a lot of books and this is my first review. But it’s an injustice to the author. The story was hard to follow because the reading was so monotone I would space out at times. Also it can put you right to sleep! Story may have been exciting but it was just so- so with the narration.

Love it!

I listened to this during a road trip. Very engrossing and deeply surprising! Moonlight has evidently put so much effort into this story, and it shows! You won't see the ending coming!
