TENDING

PARADISE

MAY 23 - JUNE 6

AN ECOSYSTEM RESTORATION CAMP

Tending Paradise Gathering: an Ecosystem Restoration Camp is an immersive, educational community experience held in the spirit of service- to renew the ecology and community affected by the 2018 Camp Fire, which all but destroyed the town of Paradise, CA and surrounding ecology. From the ash arises new opportunities to restore & rebuild, to heal, and to grow in our capacity as intelligent stewards of place.

Tending Paradise Gathering offers dynamic courses designed to take participants through a meaningful journey. Participants will learn practical skills and frameworks from experts by working on place based projects, while also nurturing community connection, communing deeply with the land, and giving back in service to this area that has been so impacted by wildfire.

Our intention is to ensure this gathering is accessible to those impacted by the 2018 Camp Fire and the local community.  To honor this we are offering locals discounted tickets, scholarships, work trade opportunities, and free, open the public, Community Action Days. To inquire about these opportunities, please email tendingparadiseinfo@gmail.com.

Participants can choose from 3 tracks of learning along with engaging community programming that weaves all participants together in a shared experience.

The 3 tracks being offered are:
