1. What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
   I hardly ever spend a day off just for me (unless I'm on vacation with my family, have visitors, or have been invited somewhere). What I love to do for myself, if I'm alone and it's a gray day (like the many we've had in the winter and fall), is to take a bath, choose a movie or TV show from my watchlist, and then just settle in on the couch with a cup of tea or coffee and watch TV. I often do this on Saturday afternoons. If the weather is nice outside, like in spring or summer (not too warm, though), I like to be outside and do some crocheting (I always have several projects I can work on) or reading...
   
   
2. What was the best vacation you ever took and why?
   I don't really have a favorite vacation... but I love our vacations in France, and there are always places or things we did that stick with me. Last year was definitely one to remember because we visited Versailles and Monet's gardens. Versailles was SOOO impressive. I also loved seeing Cap Gris Nez and Cap Blanc Nez. That beach has left a serious impression on me, even though I'm not really a beach person. I have seen them twice and definitely want to go back one day. Then there was the year we saw Leonardo Da Vinci's castle and gardens in France... Or the Château de Chenonceau... I just LOVE France.
   
   
3. What’s an essential part of your daily routine?
   I don't really have an essential part... other than starting my day with coffee, checking, and organizing my emails... does that count? I work from home, and I go straight to my PC after getting out of bed, LOL, like a true workaholic. One thing I love, though, is a habit I started last June: going out for a morning walk as soon as the sun rises. It was difficult to keep up with that in the winter, though... and it has been raining like crazy in December and January, so I haven't really gone out for morning walks then. I'm trying to get back into the routine because I do see the benefits. Morning walks are different from doing that same walk at any other time of the day because of the morning feeling... especially when the sun gets up really early in the spring and summer months, so early, that it feels like I'm the only one out at that time. When the world is still sleeping, but the forest is all mine, and the birds only sing for me... and it's even more magical if I get to see a beautiful sunrise!
   
   
4. Do you have a favorite holiday? Why or why not?
   Hmm... It's not really a holiday like Christmas, but I love Halloween. Even though Halloween isn't really celebrated in Belgium. But I love the whole vibe of it and decorating the house. Every year I buy a few things, and now I have so many decorations for Halloween... I remember one party, five years ago, where I invited family and we all dressed up and had SOOOOO much fun.
   
   
5. What’s your go-to guilty pleasure?
   My guilty pleasures change from time to time. Right now, I have this guilty pleasure: a coffee pad from Dolce Gusto 'Café Au Lait,' to which I add three teaspoons of instant coffee... LOL. I started doing that one day, and the taste is just so yummy. I also like chocolate mousse. I only indulge in this every now and then, though!

Now that we have some fun random knowledge about Anja herself let’s look into her amazing designs.

I would describe Anjas style as a fusion between romantic, mystic, fantasy and vintage. It’s really so unique and fun to scrap with and what I like the most, as a hybrid scrapper, are all the illustrations that work so well for printing and cutting for my projects.
