Overview: This is the “Stop, Drop, and Roll” of bullying, designed to introduce younger classrooms and students to the core Sweethearts & Heroes message.
Perspective/POV/Viewpoint is the way you see things. Everyone sees the world differently—that’s okay! Listening to others' viewpoints helps us be kinder and more understanding.
Bullying can be confusing, but understanding what it is and how it affects others helps us handle it. It can make people feel alone—so let’s be kind and remember everyone sees things differently!
In the 16th century, the word “bully” meant “sweetheart”—someone who encouraged others and gave them HOPE. We all have people like that in our lives, and we can be that person for someone else!
H.O.P.E. stands for Hold On, Possibilities Exist. We all struggle in different ways, but H.O.P.E. is the light that guides us—and sometimes, we need Sweethearts to help us find it.
ANYONE can be a Hero! But helping someone who is being mistreated takes practice. You have to Jump into Action within the first 10-seconds and use the ABCs of superpowers!
We must practice Jumping into Action to help those in need and choose to give the H.O.P.E. we have inside us to those who are hopeless!
