Austin Museum Day 2021

Austin Museum Day

At the Neill-Cochran House Museum

September 20, 2020 | 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM CST

This event is free and open to the public.
No Reservation Required.

This year we will be celebrating outdoors with Civil War Reenactors and Victorian Ladies. Our shaded front lawn will be the perfect place to meet and learn about the Civil War and Victorian Eras. We will also have lawn games set up for family fun. Additionally we will have exciting historic crafts, art, music, ice cream, lemonade and delicious cold-pressed juices from our friends and Pressed Juicery. Feeling hungry? Bring a blanket and enjoy lunch in the shade of our beautiful 100 year old pecan tree. Math Happens will be on site serving up sweet cupcakes for dessert!

And that’s not all!

Austin Museum Day is also the perfect day to celebrate the artists in our community, so we will be hosting our popular Art on the Lawn during Austin Museum Day! Come out and feed your soul (and your walls) with beautiful art from 12 artists!

The museum will also be open to experience the enchanting exhibition Annie Lyle Harmon: On Her Own Path. In order to ensure the safety of all our visitors, performers, and staff, the Neill-Cochran House Museum will have various sanitation stations available and will require masks while inside the Neill-Cochran House Museum.
