GeorgiaCAN EPIC Parent Program Application
The Empowered Parents Invested in Change aims to bring together like-minded individuals to be active in bettering the quality of education in their community and the state. The EPIC program is a 7-week parent empowerment training program. Ultimately, we aim to provide parents with the tools and training to start a local EPIC team in their community.

The Fall program begins on October 7th and will be conducted virtually. Over the Seven weeks, parents will be provided with training in the subject areas of advocacy, organizing, and policy.

Requirements Participants must:
- apply and be accepted into this program
- have a child or grandchild in the Georgia education system or in a private school.
- attend at least 6 out of the 7 training sessions (Each session will be 1 hour to 1 ½ hour-long training session)
- be active on social media
- have a strong passion for advocacy and improving education

Please note current Georgia K-12 students can also apply for this program.

The deadline to apply is Oct. 1st

Once applied, you will receive an email within 48 hours to schedule a virtual interview with a GeorgiaCAN staff member.
