How to play the multiplayer in the community online mode

The official support for the online mode has ended on the 1st of June, 2021. The community revived it with a custom made online backend that's available to anyone after installing the community multiplayer patch:

Creating a game account to log in with in the game is necessary. Once you registered and confirmed it in the e-mail you'll get, you can log into the online mode in the game using the same username and password.

There is a daily activity that's still growing. The most active times are Europe afternoons and evenings.

Hi. The guide is up-to-date, yes. People usually play europe later afternoons and evenings. Other parts of the day too but less frequently.

Hi. Yes of course, feel free to use the guide as well as my other one you left a comment on too. The point is to spread the info. :) In fact I just updated it and will do so as needed in the future to keep it up to date.

Btw, you're welcome to use an older version 0.1.9 that is completely clean in virus total. The latest version is only important for hosts, as it fixes the custom map downloads. This false detection only started after this download fix was added, but again, it's false and it's still completely safe to use.

They only detect an unknown possible risk due to them being very cautious. It's not an actually identified trojan and most of the antiviruses just ignore it. I know the developers personally too and I can assure anyone their only intention is to make the multiplayer work. The patch doesn't contain anything remotely dangerous. The source code is also public, as I pointed it out in the guide. What you're referring to are just called 'false positives'.
