Just wrapped up a productive journey in India — our fourth visit since joining Innovate UK’s Global Incubation Programme – India, which has played a vital role in helping us understand the breadth and diversity of the Indian market. Engaging with both new and familiar stakeholders across this dynamic and diverse country reaffirmed that doing business in India is a unique challenge — one that demands adaptability and a long-term strategic outlook. At Hexsor Scientific, we remain committed to finding credible collaborators who share our drive for impactful environmental innovation. Our innovations support mission readiness, resilience, and environmental stewardship, supporting real-time threat detection that is critical across multiple domains. 1. Maritime – Monitoring water quality, detecting pollutants, and ensuring sustainability in naval operations. 2. Land & Air – Portable sensor systems for environmental risk assessment and infrastructure resilience. 3. Remote sensing for environmental intelligence. In defence settings, these technologies help enhance operational safety, critical infrastructure protection, and environmental risk mitigation. But beyond defence, they play a vital role in climate resilience, clean environmental access, and sustainability - key challenges that affect both security and civilian domains. Dr Hareesh brings an exceptional combination of academic excellence and practical engineering expertise, making him a valuable addition to our team. With a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Robert Gordon University, Hareesh’s specialization in fluid-structure interactions, structural dynamics, and computational modeling adds a unique dimension to our projects. His groundbreaking research on nonlinear vibrations of pipelines subjected to multiphase flows has been published in leading Q1 journals and showcased at international conferences, reflecting his commitment to pushing the boundaries of engineering innovation. Beyond academia, Dr Hareesh has excelled in applying his knowledge to industry research projects, delivering creative solutions that enhance efficiency and performance. From designing turbine blades for renewable energy systems to optimizing hydraulic tools and managing the complete lifecycle of prototype development, Dr Hareesh has consistently demonstrated his ability to bridge concept and application. This expertise is exactly what we are seeking for the R&D projects in our pipeline, and we are excited to see the impact of his contributions. Proficient in tools like Ansys (Mechanical and Fluent), MATLAB, and SolidWorks, he brings a proven track record of solving complex engineering challenges with precision and creativity.
