Just Neighbors: A Small Town Enemies to Lovers Romance (Blue Beech Book 4) Kindle Edition
Every day, I tell him to f*ck off.
Kyle Lane is the town’s hottest cop.
He’s also the man I’ve despised since high school.
Each morning, he stands on his porch with an annoying smirk on his perfect face.
He’s made it his life’s mission to get under my skin.
Until one day, he’s no longer on his porch but on mine.
He claims he wants to redeem himself for ruining my reputation.
My instincts tell me to stay away, but with each morning he shows up, it becomes harder and harder to resist his charm.
I was never supposed to fall in love with my neighbor and once he finds out my secret, we’ll forever be enemies.

After totally loving Just roommates I went back and read Just Neighbours.
Whilst I enjoyed this book a few things did initially make me wonder why would these two ever end up together.
Although once they did I thought they were cute together the way things went down wasn’t something I would have seen happening or believe would happen under any circumstances.
The initial hookup still has me asking myself why???
But if you can get past this and keep reading this is a good read.
The story is well written and you start getting invested in the characters.
There were a few twists in the story that took me by surprise.
For a fun romcom it even had me grabbing for the tissues with an unexpected twist at the end.
I say despite the beginning this book is a definite must read.
Emotional enemies to lovers.
Kyle and Chloe have high school history, being humiliated all those years ago she has never forgiven him; having him as her new neighbor is a daily struggle as she ducks and runs for the cover of her car most of days because the shirtless Greek god is on his porch with coffee in hand. Chloe is an amazing Aunty that will do anything for her niece and nephew; when her sister fails her once again, she is left heartbroken and not sure she can ever put the pieces of life back together.
I have to warn you that you will need to have tissues ready and be available to read this book in one sitting. Chloe is such a strong female lead throughout this book I fell in love with her from the beginning. Kyle is a confident but sweet alpha male that makes you laugh and cry. The sexual chemistry is crazy hot between these two; making you wish that you had a hot cop as your neighbor.
I personally loved this story, while I felt like my emotions were on a roller coaster, there was so many twists and turns throughout this book I could not put it down devouring it in 1 sitting. While this series is a standalone collection the same characters appear throughout; If you have not read the previous books, I highly recommend that you do. I cannot wait to read more from Ferrell.

Trigger Warning: Bullying, Drug Addiction, Child's Death and Infertility.
Kyle Lane is the towns hottest cop and has moved next door to his high school arch enemy. He loves giving her a hard time and yells Good Morning to her every morning from his porch while shirtless and she responds with giving him the bird and a few choice words.
Chloe Findgain is a journalist and hates her next door neighbor because he ruined her reputation while in high school and now he just enjoys toying with her. She may hate him but he sure is a sight for the eyes.
Kyle drove her home from the towns pub when she had to much to drink and blackmails her into having 3 meals with him. He crushed on her in high school and thinks she's beautiful now and maybe he can apologize and explain about the ruined homecoming night in high school.
Chloe and Kyle end up spending their nights together and saying good morning in bed but Chloe is hiding a secret and when Kyle finds out, the truce they have called may just go back to hate.

Bitterness, hate, embarrassment and finally understanding. This book has it all and (embarrassingly) had me in tears.
I loved it and am now going to download book one in the series.
Ps. I’m 58 year old male.

It was an amazing read! Comfort and cozy read!
I've read the first two books in the Blue Beech series, both are fun to read! I would recommend to read all the books in the series they are equally amazing stories, being this one my favorite!
Now the tropes of the Just Neighbors-
Enemies to lovers
Grumpy sunshine
Small town
Highschool crush
Triggers-
Bullying
Alcohol abuse
Death

Kyle and Chloe really made me laugh how they interacted with each other and both refused to back down.
Chloe has been thru so very much negative in her life from a single drug addict mom, no dad, an older sister turning out just like her mother, no money, the whole town looking down on her because of her circumstances despite her being nothing like her reputation then on top of that the one time she likes a boy and thinks finally something good is going to happen to her the entire thing blows up in her face and she is treated worse than ever.
Kyle is the rich son of the local big wig in town, the mayor. he knows nothing of struggle, of having nothing, of being hungry and struggling just to survive day by day then he goes and makes a stupid teenage mistake which costs the girl he likes Chloe more heartache and ends any chance of being with her.
10 yrs pass and hard feelings remain, hurt remains, embarrassment remains and to top if off Kyle her nemisis moves into the house next door and continues to remind her of all the hurt and sadness she had to live thru.
The author did a fantastic job on character development, story line, description and creating characters that truly came to life. She made me feel like these were real ppl in a real town and I was living life among them while reading the story.
This is a new author for me and I can truly say I will be anxiously reading more of her work. I already have a second book in this series waiting for me to open it.
I can't recommend this book highly enough to those who love happy endings, true love over coming hardship and all obstacles, real life story lines, struggles, and successes.
