Here Is Our Story
We were missing something. It was 2015. Rob and I were 3 years into real estate. We had just completed our most successful year. But there was a huge strain on our relationship. We'd been trying for years to have kids with no success. We made the decision to explore fertility clinics. The whole experience was eye-opening for us. There was a tremendous amount of help for us to start our family. After months and months of testing, steroids, and clinics became our new routine. I remember it vividly. It was my 29th birthday and the time came to make my wish. I knew exactly what I wanted. I blew out the candles knowing all I wanted was to have a baby by my next birthday.

The next day was our round of IUI. Fast forward to a few weeks later and Rob asked me to take a pregnancy test. I said, "sure, but I'm not pregnant". Wow, was I ever wrong! The test came back positive. We were off to see the doctors for an ultrasound. They found 1 sac, then 2... we were having twins! We were shocked and excited. The news was out that twins were arriving in June 2016. We lived in a very small house in central Sarnia and were very happy with the home we created. We didn't have any plans to move. We thought we could raise twins in a small 2 bedroom. A small 2 bedroom home with no garage, no basement, and very limited storage. I remember the day our decision changed, I met up with a friend for
coffee. She asked when we were moving into a bigger home. We were confused. What do you mean? Our house is big enough right now. She looked at us as if we're insane! You'll never have enough space for twins and all the stuff that comes with them. You'll be bursting at the seams. Sitting at Coffee Culture on a nice Fall day, it finally hit us. She was right! Where would we put the stroller? Would two cribs even fit in our spare bedroom? And we had no extra space for a main floor changing station. We had to move fast!
I always wanted to raise my kids where I grew up.
Right away, we were on the hunt for a home while keeping up with our many doctor's appointments. I was monitored very closely since I was expecting twins and Type 1 Diabetic. I was labeled as high-risk. It was a long search of looking at homes that weren't checking all the boxes.
Finally, we found the perfect home. It was around the corner from my childhood home. Meant to be! We had a closing date that was a month before our twins were set to arrive. We planned it all out. Well, our twins had different plans. Kids always have their own schedules! Baby B (Aaron) was having major health issues during our pregnancy. This resulted in having 26 ultrasounds during our pregnancy. That's right, 26 and they were all in London. The twins came early with a c-section. They arrived 2 weeks before our moving day!

We're now working on your home together. This is when we put your Schedule of Events into action with the least amount of stress to you as possible. List day is the most important day to make a first impression on buyers looking at your home. 98% of buyers start searching online and scrolling through social media when looking for a home. In this step, we're working on:

Now it’s time to get everything finalized. During this time we'll work to make sure conditions and deadlines are met. Once we get this done, “SOLD” signs are going up!
Our job doesn’t end when the sold sign goes up. We’ll be checking in with you periodically to keep you on track until moving day.
