The Difference Between Being Alive and Feeling Alive

Jen Rozenbaum is a portrait photographer, author, breast cancer survivor/advocate and hostess of the Life After Breast Cancer podcast.

Through her work, she is helping women celebrate their unique femininity and helping breast cancer patients and survivors put their lives back together after cancer.

Jen lives on Long Island with her two kids, and rescue pup. She lives with gratitude every day that she survived cancer and was given a second chance at life.

A note from your host...

Although Jen is not able to join us live, I wanted her story to be part of this show and help you to discover self-love.

After playing tag and "life" getting in the way, the way we all know it does...I'm super grateful that we were able to sit down virtually and enjoy a fabulous conversation, that I KNOW will resonate with you and help you feel differently about yourself when you look in the mirror (or the next time you have your photograph taken!).

Jen openly shares her journey back to feeling alive, so that you can do exactly the same!:

  • Re-evaluating your life
  • The new normal
  • Reconnecting with your femininity

" Breast Cancer isn't just an attack on your body and life, it declares a full-on war on your femininity!"

SELF-LOVE IS:

Letting Go Of Society's Breast Rulebook

Amanda Savage Brown, Ph.D., LCSW, is a torchbearer for women finding their way through the inner journey of breast implant removal or aesthetic flat closure.

Using the evidence-based approaches of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, she helps women reclaim themselves from socially-driven self non-acceptance.

In 2018, her personal life and professional expertise aligned as she moved through her own explant journey and witnessed countless women struggling with the deeply felt, yet poorly supported, mental, emotional, and social aspects of breast implant removal.

She now specializes in the well-being of women who explant, explant-to-flat, or choose aesthetic flat closure directly after mastectomy.

She’s the author of Busting Free, the only self-help book for women before, during, and after explant, and the 2022 Recipient of the Best Independent Book Award in Women’s Well-Being.

A note from your host...

When I first spoke with Amanda, I knew I'd be inviting her to share her mind-blowing knowledge with you.

You'll be blown away by this LIVE conversation and the "stories" from the breast rulebook that you've been holding onto:

  • What exactly is the "breast rulebook?"
  • Why can we never fully unlearn its content?
  • What this means to breast cancer survivors and previvors?

The Foundation of Healthy Change

Laura is a Certified Life, Health, and Nutrition Coach.

She is the host of The Breast Cancer Recovery Coach podcast.

She is the creator of The Better Than Before Breast Cancer Life Coaching Membership and she has been coaching breath cancer survivors for more than five years.

After completing treatment for her first diagnosis of breast cancer in 2011, Laura found herself in what she calls the unspoken phase of breast cancer treatment, recovery.

It was figuring out how to navigate that experience that led her to create a space where other survivors could come for support and to know they are not alone.

In 2020 Laura received a diagnosis of metastatic breast cancer and supported herself by digging even deeper into her philosophy of supporting the body's ability to heal through self-love.

A note from your host...

Laura and I first met last year, but we hit it off right away. She's someone I felt I'd known for years after just a few minutes of chatting. With our love and respect for all things health related, we knew we'd always be connected.

During our LIVE conversation:

  • Self-love trumps self-judgement.
  • How fighting doesn't support healing.
  • How we get to take care of those we love, including ourselves.

SELF-LOVE IS:

Breaking Down Walls & Opening Your Heart

Nicole Janton is a coach, energy practitioner, and host of the Anxious & Ambitious podcast.

She helps women overcome chronic anxiety through a holistic approach, empowering them to release emotional baggage, ditch overwhelm, and rediscover inner peace.

With her deep understanding of mind, body, and spirit, she transforms her clients' lives and helps them live a fulfilling life free from anxiety.

A note from your host...

Nicole and I met quite recently when I was invited to be a guest on her Anxious & Ambitious podcast. Even after the interview had finished we found ourselves chatting for some time, as I wanted to get a better understanding of her gifts.

Expect a frank and open LIVE discussion about the challenges and rewards of tearing down emotional walls, opening the heart, and embracing self-love:

  • The process of addressing the underlying emotional imbalances that may be at the root of physical and emotional symptoms, promoting a holistic healing experience.
  • How identifying and releasing trapped emotions and heart wall layers can promote greater self-love and self-acceptance.

Karin Del Maestro is a Health & Transformation Coach and has been working in the health and wellness fields for 20+ years.

But, it was after her own Breast Cancer and BRCA2 diagnosis in 2018 that she realized she was uniquely qualified to serve breast cancer survivors, helping them after treatment has ended, to get their energy & life back by no longer putting their needs on the back burner. Karin helps you to feel amazing in the skin you are in…no matter how many scars you may have!

Karin specializes in working with Breast Cancer Survivors, Genetic Mutation Carriers & Healthy Lifestyle Seekers who readily focus their time and energy on their loved ones, but find it challenging to make time to take care of themselves.

In this event I'll be talking about the challenge many survivors face after treatment ends when you might left saying "How am I supposed to love myself, when I don't even know who I am anymore?"

You are not the same person after going through breast cancer, but it doesn't have to be a bad thing...in fact, it can be liberating & catapult your journey to self-love and self-acceptance, when you know the path to follow...I've got you covered, my friend!
