Learn more Tikkun Olam at TBE

Dear TBE Community,

Thank you to the almost 200 of you who joined us for our Martin Luther King Jr. Community Service Day! We accomplished a lot together, and demonstrated our commitment to the Jewish values of both chesed (caring) and tzedek (justice).

That incredible Day of Service is just the beginning of a year of many acts of tikkun olam (repairing our world). As you can see below, we have more opportunities to come together as a community and make a difference. We have a new initiative around ending hunger, our green team wants to know how they can best support you, and our Congregants for Reproductive Justice are launching a collection on Repro Shabbat. From supporting the homeless community through the Winter Walk on Sunday, February 9, to hearing stories of refugee families during HIAS Shabbat on Friday, February 28, there’s something for everyone to get involved in and continue living out our shared values.

L'shalom,

Sandy
