When is camp?
This year it will be July 14-19, 2024. Camp is always the third week in July.
Where is camp?
We cannot disclose the location of our campground for the safety of the children. It is in driving distance and camp volunteers usually drive out together to save on gas.

I can’t make it out for the full week. Do I still have options for helping?
Yes! As camp gets closer we’ll put out a form with opportunities to help check-in and check-out in Lincoln, and head out to camp for a few hours with activities during the week! Join our mailing list to receive updates on these opportunities!
I would love to volunteer, but need to keep up with work/school. Is that possible?
On top of our campground having a spotty internet connection, we highly advise the week of camp be fully focused on the kids and our purpose there. Please feel free to contact us if you would like more information on any flexibility needed!
What are the age restrictions?
A full-time volunteer must be at least 18 years old. We have a few junior positions open each year for 16-17 year olds though. The junior counselors/staffers must be highly motivated, able to accomplish tasks without continual supervision, and responsible. We also have volunteers out a couple of nights through the week, in which the minimum age can be more flexible as long as an adult is present. Contact us to learn more about these opportunities.
Is this a paid position?
No, camp is a fully volunteer experience. The camp is free to the children and fundraising helps pay for the camp, campers, and volunteers.
