Adrenaline-Fueled Adventures

HELI-SKIING/SNOWBOARDING

There is nothing like the thrill of carving up the fresh powder in the high alpine with your fully guided group. For intermediate, advanced & expert riders only.

DOWNHILL SKIING/SNOWBOARDING LESSONS

Whistler Blackcomb offers a variety of ski and snowboard programs for adults and children. Both private & group lessons are available catering to all ages and ability levels. They are a great way to freshen up your ski/snowboard abilities! Reservations are required at least seven days in advance.

SNOWMOBILING

Take a 2 or 3-hour tour through some of Whistler’s most scenic backcountry; a great family activity for a day off from the slopes. Beginner, advanced and private tours are available.

ART STUDIO

You can rent snowshoes and explore Lost Lake, Join a tour with a local activity provider, or let us be your guide by joining a Whistler Experience Guide Snowshoe Tour. We will provide the snowshoes, transportation, and a friendly guide to show you the way.

VALLEA LUMINA

Explore Vallea Lumina, a family-friendly multimedia experience bringing Whistler’s old-growth forests to life! Follow the path through the forest on an enchanted night walk in pursuit of hidden wonders, telling a story that unfolds along the way. Located on Cougar Mountain, a short drive north of Whistler Village.

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING

Swap your downhill skis for some cross-country skis, and join one of our Whistler Experience Guides, as they take you on a fun lap around Lost Lake. These cross-country ski trails are perfect for beginners and give stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Track-set Classic or Skate Ski trails wind at the Whistler Olympic Park and Lost Lake. Rentals and lessons are available at both.

TOBOGGANING

Located behind the hotel, there is a small slope that is suitable for kids of all ages to have some fun. We have toboggans available for loan from our Health Club staff, simply stop by and enjoy an afternoon of family fun.

TUBE PARK

If you like tobogganing but hate walking back uphill then Snow Tubing is for you.  Located at Base Two on Blackcomb Mountain, the Bubly Tube Park offers great fun for the young and young at heart. No skills, equipment or reservations are required for this activity. Learn more.

ICE SKATING

Tap into your inner Canadian and lace up for some gliding fun. Enjoy skating under the stars at Olympic Plaza. They have rentals onsite, music, and a toasty fire to warm up around.

ICE FISHING

Located 10 minutes north on Highway 99, this indoor sports facility features an indoor swimming pool, toddler wading pool, and indoor ice-skating rink.

TENNIS/ PICKLEBALL

Get ready for the spring with some indoor practice. Indoor courts and lessons are available at the Whistler Racquet Club, located in Whistler Village.

DINING TOURS

ROCK CLIMBING (INDOOR)

Offering over 4,000 ft2 of indoor rock, including cracks, dihedrals, and overhangs, Whistler’s only indoor climbing centre is a great activity. No experience is necessary; guided and supervised climbing sessions are available. All ages are welcome.

CLIMB & DINE (KIDS)

Located at The Core in the Whistler Conference Centre. Children (ages 4-14) can enjoy either a 2 or 3-hour guided rock climbing session including a kid-style dinner.
