We're starting off 2021 with a new content block to create headings! Plus, we've made a small but valuable improvement to copying and pasting text.

Add headings with the Title block

When designing an email or a web page, your customers typically need to set titles to establish a content hierarchy. Now they can use the Title block to define H1, H2, and H3 titles, and BEE will generate the HTML output using heading tags.

Heading tags increase content accessibility in screen readers for visually impaired users. They also improve SEO for web pages, as search engines analyze headings to better understand the content on a page.

If you're using an Email builder application, you need to turn on the Title block in your developer account. This new block is instead on by default for Page Builder applications. We've also updated our Quick Start Guide that you can use as a starting point for your documentation.

TEXT BLOCK IMPROVEMENT

Copy & paste links

In case you haven't noticed, we recently made a small improvement to the text block, which now supports copying and pasting links. BEE typically strips away most text formatting when copying and pasting to avoid rendering issues. However, we know this is a friction point for BEE users, and this is a first step to improve the text editing experience without sacrificing the final output quality.
