Thank you for registering to attend 'Behavior Begins in the Brain' workshops. They will be held on THURSDAY 10/28 & 11/4 from 6pm-8:30pm. These free workshops are presented by Dr. Donna Volpitta from Pathways to Empower. Dr. Volpitta will be presenting virtually with live and virtual audience participation and group discussions. Please select your preference of attendance. (Please note that participants at Bay College must observe campus policy requiring attendees to wear masks indoors when not eating.)
The purpose of the workshops are to help understand and manage challenging behaviors, strengthen relationships, and build resilience in children. Dr. Volpitta will help participants understand the brain science behind behavior and offer practical strategies to manage behavior by building essential social and emotional skills in children such as problem solving, conflict resolution, and self regulation. Participants will find this beneficial for any age or stage of development.
Additionally, Pathways to Empower is providing 1 year FREE access to their self-paced curriculum after the sessions that will allow participants to take a deeper dive into the content and allow time to reflect and practice skills.
Refreshments will be available at the live presentations. Eligible childcare stipends are available upon request. Please contact Laurie Mold at 419-320-5542 or
