Students are bored and rarely complete required assignments.  This is reflected by several zeroes in the gradebook.  I am unsure if they are “getting it” or are just being lazy. *

Students have really been engaged in the work and in class to construct new meaning.  Almost all students do what is asked of them because they see the relevance of what we are learning.  The majority of my students care about gaining new knowledge, and creating innovative ways to apply those skills. *

Students always pay attention in class and do the work they are assigned because they want to make good grades.  My students probably don’t see much merit in doing what is asked of them, and they wouldn’t do it if they didn’t feel obligated. *
