"Can We Talk?" Parent Workshop Series

We are partnering with the YWCA and Centre for Sexuality to provide insights and tips about how to approach conversations about sexuality and sexual health with your children, as well as opportunities to practice answering common questions that children have. These workshops are open to all parents and caregivers of children/youth ages 0-18.

These workshops will increase your:

  • knowledge of the role of parents as sexual health educators
  • awareness of your own attitudes, values and beliefs as they relate to sexuality
  • comfort in discussing topics related to sexual health with children and youth
  • ability to use resources and tools to increase knowledge and comfort discussing sexuality, sexual health and relationships, as well as answering questions from your children
