Since 2016 Good Vibe Tribe Houston has collaborated art and music to support our local community. In 2018 Good Vibe Tribe Houston hosted two benefit art and music collaborative events that raised over $1600 for our local charity, The Pink Giraffe House. This year the tribe is hoping to raise awareness and invoke ‘EMPATHY’ with an art installation dedicated to The Pink Giraffe House and the Save The Giraffes initiative to be displayed at Burning Man 2019. In our journey to the Playa, we will be raising funds towards equipment, building materials, lighting, logistics, and storage for ‘EMPATHY’.
“Cognitive empathy” is the ability to understand how another person feels and what they might be thinking. Cognitive empathy makes us better communicators, because it helps us relay information in a way that best reaches the other person.
“Emotional empathy” is the ability to share the feelings of another person. This type of empathy helps you build emotional connections with others.
“Compassionate empathy” goes beyond simply understanding others and sharing their feelings, it actually moves us to take action, to help however we can.

EMPATHY will be a dedication to The Pink Giraffe House, a local charity that aids Houston’s homeless youth and to Save The Giraffes, a collective creating awareness that giraffes are now an endangered species.
Our mission is to open our hearts and spread awareness to invoke empathy on our journey home to the playa. We believe everyone should be more empathetic to humanity and nature. Everyone and everything in life deserves a chance to live and to live life to its fullest.
The Good Vibe Tribe is a family of DJs, producers, artist, music lovers, and friends that strive to share this experience we call LIFE with each other AND YOU! Our mission is to provide our communities with a platform for artists to showcase their talents, a positive atmosphere for you and your friends to escape the mundane rituals of everyday life, a space to express individuality, and an experience of great music created and curated within our collective. We strive to create and share a magical space where time is lost as you find yourself surrounded by an uplifting atmosphere of people you can now call family.

The Pink Giraffe House offers a safe haven for young victims of abuse, neglect, or abandonment who need protection and assistance.
Save The Giraffes
Believe it or not, giraffes are an endangered species, leaving them vulnerable to extinction. Their numbers have plunged over the last 30 years, from around 150,000 to less than 100,000, a little more than the population of New Braunfels, TX. Their numbers are declining due to their indigenous landscape being threatened by the encroachment of people for farming and agriculture, mining operations, civil unrest, rebel militias operating in giraffe habitats, illegal hunting, which sometimes funds the militias, and ecological changes, such as drought and global warming.
Save The Giraffes aims to stop the decreases in the number of giraffes in Africa so that future generations can marvel at these magnificent creatures, the tallest mammal on our planet. But we are not only trying to save giraffes. Because giraffes are what conservationists call an ‘umbrella’ species, by protecting these iconic animals, we can protect a host of other not-so- iconic species.. Giraffes live in large areas that are also inhabited by other endangered mammals (such as the Cape hunting dog, leopards, and abbott’s duiker), endangered birds (such as the secretary bird, southern ground hornbill, and martial eagle), and endangered reptiles (such as the Usambara spotted worm snake).
