What we’re about

We’re a vibrant, inclusive and supportive social group, run entirely by volunteers. Founded in 1965, KENRIC has been organising a wide variety of enriching events ever since, making us the UK’s longest-running social group for lesbians. We arrange all sorts of online and face-to-face gatherings, ranging from walks, picnics, parties and gallery trips to crossword-solving, poetry and book readings.
The KENRIC Meetup Group is free to join and membership is open to all lesbians, including trans women who identify as lesbian.
KENRIC embraces and promotes equality, diversity and inclusion for all its members. Our organisation’s commitment to providing a safe environment within which its members may meet and feel comfortable together is central to our Mission: “KENRIC creates a vibrant, inclusive and supportive community for all lesbians by providing a mix of enriching and enjoyable social events.”
KENRIC aims to ensure that these commitments are embedded in its day-to-day practices with all full members and associate members so that they are treated fairly, openly, honestly, with dignity and respect. Full details of our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Policy can be found here: https://kenriclesbians.org.uk/edi/

Please note that we require all members of our Meetup group to either include a genuine photo of their face in their Meetup profile or to email a photo of their face to the KENRIC administrators at verifyid@kenriclesbians.org.uk
All photos will be deleted after verification, in accordance with KENRIC’s Privacy Policy.
