A division of Insception Lifebank/Cells for Life, we are committed to providing accurate, current and unbiased information to expectant parents to facilitate their preparation for childbirth and the care of their newborn.

Joan Bordash is the owner/operator of Next Steps Breastfeeding Support. Joan graduated in 1980 with a Diploma in Nursing and earned her BScN (Hon) in 2004. She has had a varied career, primarily in community nursing and public health.

In the late 90’s, Joan began working with the maternal/infant population, and earned her IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) in 2002 and re-certified in 2007, 2012, 2017 and 2022. Joan has enjoyed helping hundreds of mothers and babies over the years!
