Item was on clearance and a great value. I don't mind the monochrome display. Installed and run on 2003 F350 with truck camper. Have sensors for TT also, not yet installed. Video makes sensor pairing easy. Discrepancy with digital tire gauge a small issue. One sensor 3 degrees different than other 3 sensors. Good price, fast shipping

Even though I check my tires regularly, I am looking at something like these more for peace of mind while on the road. I am getting mixed reviews about these. Many state that they had issues with the weight of them that caused damage to rubber valve stems. Can you tell me if these will work well on rubber valve stems?

Good morning. Thank you for your question! The TST flow through sensors have a weight of 2 ounces and a length of 2 inches. Due to the extra weight TST specifically states the flow through sensors can only be used on solid / metal / rigid tire valve stems. Mounting them on rubber tire valve stems can create too much centrifugal force that will crack a rubber tire valve stem over time. TST does offer the cap style sensors (1 ounce and 1 inch long) that are perfectly safe for use on both rubber and metal tire valve stems. Good morning. Thank you for your question! As long as the tire valve stem is a solid / rigid / metal tire valve stem TST flow through sensors will work perfectly. The sensors have a pressure range of 1-218 PSI.

Good afternoon. The display will show the temperature and PSI for one tire at a time. It cycles through each position one at a time changing one to the next every three seconds or so. We have a 42' DP and towing a Jeep gladiator we are about 70' will this work that far as to monitor our Jeep also ? Will these work on both steel and rubber valve stems ? Thanks

Hi, The TST 507 systems are designed to transmit the signal over 100 ft. TST and TechnoRV recommend to always to install your repeater that comes with the kit to strengthen the signal of your sensors to your Monitor. To answer your other question, Flow thru sensors are only designed for steel valve stems. The Cap sensors however are designed to work on both.
