The public comment period to inform revisions made to the Roslindale Square draft zoning updates ended on April 5, 2025, at 11:59 PM. Final revisions to the Roslindale Square draft zoning updates will be made prior to the April 8, 2025, closeout public meeting.
Members of the public are welcome to continue sending comments via email to the Planning Department or the BPDA Board on these zoning updates as the revised drafts will now move on for a vote by the BPDA Board on April 10, 2025.
If the BPDA Board votes to petition the Zoning Commission to adopt the proposed zoning updates, then the draft zoning updates will be brought to the Boston Zoning Commission to vote on adopting the updates into the Boston Zoning Code.
All public comments received during the public comment period as well as additional comments sent to the Planning Department after the public comment period will be shared with the Boston Zoning Commission ahead of a hearing date if these draft zoning updates move on the that stage in the adoption process. Boston Zoning Commission meetings are public hearings, and public comments can be sent to the Boston Zoning Commission directly ahead of those hearings. Boston Zoning Commission hearings have dedicated time for public testimony, as well.
Comments to the Planning Department that are made after the formal public comment period should be emailed to
squaresandstreets@boston.gov. Thank you.
