Historical Tour

Join your neighbors for a self-guided tour of historic sites in Emory Grove and Washington Grove, two communities that have been historically divided by the question of race.

• Start at Johnson's Park: 18000 Washington Grove Ln, Gaithersburg, MD
• Finish at McCathran Hall: 300 Grove Ave, Washington Grove
• Refreshments served at McCathran Hall at 3:30 PM
• The tour is 1.2 miles.
• This event is on rain or shine. In the event of rain, join us at McCathran Hall at 2:00 PM for a slide show presentation of the historic sites.
