    Great perportions
Here is another Big Titan. We have gotten quite a few Titans at this point. This one stands apart a bit from the rest. Cybertron Metroplex is a much less stocky figure than the other Titans that we have had. This version of Metroplex has body proportions much more in line with a standard Transformer than his larger Titan brothers. He looks like he is actually ready to run into action, and not just lumber is way in there. He comes with, what has to be the largest weapon ever created for a Transformer. His "Sparkdrinker" axe is massively long. As long as Metroplex is tall. And the spinning blade on the front would be no match for any competition. There are a number of handles for Metroplex to hold the weapon, and it can attach to his back as well. His face transforms to give him a welding mask. It is a good looking change for him, and it tucks nicely out of the way for his regular face. He needs that welding mask for when he transforms into work mode. Sparkdrinker breaks down into two pieces and becomes longer attachment tools for his hands. And then there is the vehicle mode, where he turns into a massive excavator. Now, this is not the most glorious of vehicles, but this is a great mode for a guy that just wants to spend his days building. This mode works great with the Core Class figures. He looks even more massive with little Transformers running around all over him. This guy made a great addition to my collection of Transformers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Turn up the Cybertron Theme!
Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2023
What can I say but, MY GOD. This is basically the Cybertron Metroplex we dreamed of as kids! He's a beautifully upscaled version of the classic, without being a flat-out copy! The transformation is nostalgic but updated! He's also incredibly poseable! I mean, he has an ab-crunch and a double-hinged neck for crying out loud!

Only complaint is the weapon. Don't get me wrong, it's awesomely huge and looks the part. But it tends to fall out of the hands if the angle isn't just right. My main complaint about it is that it's lost its gimmick from the original. I can live without the Cyberkey, but I feel like the saw should still open, especially at this scale.

    Otherwise, he's magnificent! Highly recommend!
