What is S.A.G.E?

S.A.G.E, short for "Sharing and Gaining Experiences", is an online platform that connects avid

learners and sharers of all ages safely and conveniently. Ultimately, we aim to build the largest

intergenerational community dedicated to supporting one another.

What is a Verified Sharer?

A Verified Sharer is akin to being a mentor. However, there is no expectation for you to offer advice

to your mentees and no expectation for you to continue interacting with your mentees as a Verified

Sharer. Instead, we are inviting you to engage Learners in a short casual session to address their

most burning questions by sharing your experiences.

S.A.G.E Telegram Bot

What?

Our Telegram Bot aims to connect Verified Sharers with Learners on a 1-to-1 and on-demand /

impromptu basis. The minimum commitment level is engaging with each Learner for at least 30

minutes kept at a maximum of 3 Learners. However, you are free to remove this limit. This can be

done virtually (Video Conference / Call) or through a face-to-face meet-up, depending on each pair.

Why?

Aligned with our vision of building an intergenerational community, the focus of this programme is

to:

1. Foster strong bonds between different generations and enable the flow of knowledge and

experience between them.

2. Enable complete strangers to conveniently network with one another in a personal and

spontaneous manner based on one’s hobbies and experiences.

3. Level the playing field by providing all users the opportunity to network with experienced

individuals, regardless of one’s background.

Where?

Online or face-to-face sessions. Entirely dependent on each pair of individuals.

How?

• The sign-up link and QR code can be found right below this section.

• The S.A.G.E team will send a confirmation email to all successful applicants within 5 working

days.

• For the first phase of our programme, we are currently looking out for the following sharers:

o Experience in the Engineering or Healthcare industry

• There will be two Welcome Tea sessions conducted on Saturday, 21st August and Saturday,

4th September respectively.

• Each session is expected to last for 1h from 1000 to 1100 and will be held online over Zoom

(Zoom details will be provided at a later date via email)

• The purpose of these sessions will be to officially onboard all Verified Sharers onto our

Telegram bot, bring you through guidelines for engaging others through the Telegram bot,

and to address any queries that you may have

• All Verified Sharers must attend 1 Welcome Tea session. If you are unable to make it for

either of the Welcome Tea sessions, do click here to sign up directly on our Telegram Bot. At

the end of your registration, you will be prompted to book a Verification Session with us

which will be used as an alternative to the Welcome Tea session.
