What in tarnation is Patreon? Writing essays was never my thing, so I'll will keep it short.  Any amount you contribute here on Patreon directly goes towards helping me produce more videos.  You're buying supplies like wood, glue, sandpaper, and Dunkaroos.  Not to mention, helping offset the cost of buying tools so I can provide even more content to you.  As of mid-2020 I don't make a single penny on these videos. Actually, I lose money making them.  On average, I spend about 30-60 hours on a 10-20 minute video and about $50-$600 in materials. <div style="text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: center;"></div>What's the Best Way to Show My Appreciation? If you use the Google machine to search, &quot;what's the best way to say thank you&quot; you get over 1,810,000,000 results.  Luckily mom's were able to narrow that down and tell us to write cards.  But remember when you got that card with a special gift inside?  It's what my family calls a &quot;flat present&quot;.  Why did we love the flat presents so much? It's because those paper rectangles with dead presidents faces on them gave us freedom.  And by freedom, we mean to buy cool sh&amp;%!  Being able to purchase some tools like a CNC, jointer, planer, or just a proper table saw opens a world of possibilities for me, and you are providing those flat presents that allow me to explore all those options. My undying appreciation and knowledge that you're supporting someone who realized that their full time job isn't fulfilling and is actually slowly killing them on the inside.  Okay, you're not an emotional person?  Let me try again...
