Announcement: We've Moved to Maria01 Startupland
Change of Location
You might recall a previous announcement from earlier this year where HEAT's marketing manager would be located at Maria01 Startupland to be closer to start-ups, accelarators / incubators, and the tech advisors. After a few months, we've decided to move HEAT's headquarters to Maria01 to strengthen our ties with the community and be part of Finland's innovation ecosystem.
This move allows us to engage with the different actors to educate them on the benefits of blockchain enabled solutions, inspire them with practical uses cases in different industries, and promote the HEAT blockchain as a valid option to run proof-of-concepts. Below are some examples of the type of initiatives we've taken so far and are working on.
Accelerators
HEAT reached out to accelerators like Vertical and agreed to help them understand the possibilities and opportunities behind the technology with a set of live keynotes to their set of technology-focused experts.
Tech Advisors
HEAT has been active in engaging with technology advisory companies like Accenture and introduced potential benefits to their clients in different industries with the aim to run proof-of-concepts and validate the assumptions.
Innovation Partnerships
HEAT is out seeking opportunities to showcase it's technology and the benefits of blockchain. One exciting project taking place in Helsinki is Jatkasaari's Smart Mobility initiative, which plans to use a new neighbourhood of Helsinki to test smart mobility initiatives and its comercialisation. HEAT has had talks with the team behind this initiative and has been invited to assist to the kick-off workshop as a tech partner. Since one of the aims of the project is to share and learn from all the data generated by the participants, HEAT will present the benefits of using HEAT's blockchain to do so.
Start-Up Funding Advisory
HEAT is actively engaging with start-ups that are interested in new ways to raise funds through some kind of coin offerings. We inform them of the advantages, disadvantages, friendly jurisdictions, and the tech and know-how necessary to make it happen.
Closer to Innovation
To conclude, by becoming a permanent member of the Maria01 startup ecosystem, HEAT will be closer to Finland's top innovation actors. By being present and active HEAT aims not only to be recognized as one but also be presented with opportunities to showcase the benefits of blockchain-enabled solutions and promote the HEAT blockchain.
